School Meals
Hot Meals
We provide excellent, healthy meals that are cooked on site by Educaterers and cost £3.00 a day. The menu runs on a three-weekly cycle and is changed throughout the year to offer a variety of foods to our pupils. School menus are available from the school office.
There are three daily choices
red (meat option),
green (vegetarian option), or
orange (jacket potato).
Parents can book and pay for school lunches via the School Spider app up to 100 days in advance (bookings close at midnight the day before).
Packed lunches
Parents can provide their children with a healthy, nut-free packed lunch. Please note we cannot heat food up in school.

Free School Meals (FSM)
Free School Meals are available to
all infant pupils (Reception, Year 1 and Year 2) – known as universal FSM
pupils who meet the free school meals eligibility-criteria – known as benefits-related FSM
For the new school year starting in September 2026 more children than ever will be eligible for FSM. There will be two categories of free school meal eligibility depending on your financial circumstances:
Targeted free school meals for those getting Universal Credit with annual household earnings of £7,400 or less, or another qualifying benefit
Expanded free school meals for anyone getting Universal credit whose annual earnings are above £7,400.
Households in both categories will benefit from the financial savings of getting free school meals.
Households who fall into the targeted category will get access to additional benefits such as Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme and Pupil Premium.
As a school we encourage all parents to apply for Free School Meals (even if your child is in Reception, Year 1 or Year 2) in order to offer pupils the opportunity to explore different foods and to help secure much needed funding for the school.
