Here at St Andrew's Benn, we want to encourage and develop a love and enjoyment of reading for life. Research shows that children who read regularly, perform better in school. Therefore, we think it is important to encourage our children to read, read and read!

To help, we have appointed a group of children as Reading Ambassadors for our school. They will work together to: 

- encourage a love of reading around school 

- share books with children in their class and around school 

- create displays to promote books 

- help look after our school library 

- help with reading events such as our 'Reading Cafe'
