St Andrew's Benn Church of England Voluntary Aided School is a wonderful, caring school that values each and every one of its children. We have approximately 350 children on roll aged 3-11. We have a fantastic team of teachers, support staff, admin staff and lunchtime supervisors that contribute to our family environment.

St Andrew's Benn C of E  Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

We have a number of policies and procedures in place that contribute to our safeguarding commitment, including our Child Protection Policy which can be viewed in our policy section.

We actively support the Government's Prevent Agenda to counter radicalism and extremism. 

Our Designated Safeguarding Lead is Miss Abi Huggins (Headteacher). Our Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads are Mrs Jessica Wells (Deputy) Mrs Niki Marson, Mrs Rose Balogun, Mr Steve Vassell and Ms Trudi Amponsah. The Governor with responsibility for safeguarding in our school in Mr Andrew Chessell.

The MASH Operating Times are: 8.30am - 5.30pm Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm on a Friday.  Outside of office hours for an immediate concern about a child in danger dial 999 and contact the Emergency Duty Team on telephone number 01926 886922.
