School Council
In our school council, we have a representative from each Key Stage 1 and 2 class and these members remain in post for the duration of a school academic year. In September, each class holds a democratic vote for who they would like to represent them forthcoming year. The children in our school council meet each week to discuss things happening within their classes, but also across the whole school and identify ways in which they could improve anything in school. In the past, the school council have led initiatives such as Anti-Bullying Week and have met with outside agencies such as our catering suppliers to ensure school dinners are as healthy as they can be and met with the local council to see how they can support with recycling. School council meetings are led by the council chair and a member of the school council takes minutes of the meetings so that they can be shared with the wider school community.
