Safeguarding

Safeguarding

At St Andrew's Benn School we take the safety and welfare of your children very seriously. We have 5 staff trained in child protection - Miss Huggins (Headteacher), Niki Marson (Pastoral Lead), Rose Balogun (TA/Attendance Officer), Jessica Wells (Deputy Headteacher) and Steve Vassell (Learning Mentor).  Mrs Trudi Amponsah (SENCO).

We have a number of policies and procedures in place that contribute to our safeguarding commitment, including our Child Protection Policy which can be viewed in our policy section.

We actively support the Government's Prevent Agenda to counter radicalism and extremism.

You can speak to any of these staff if you are worried about your child or any other child in school or you can contact Niki Marson on 01788 574697 or email: marson.n@welearn365.com to arrange a meeting.

If you have a safeguarding concern about a child or young person and want to speak to someone, contact the Warwickshire MASH on 01926 414144 and give as much information as you can.

The MASH Operating Times are: 8.30am - 5.30pm Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm on a Friday.  Outside of office hours for an immediate concern about a child in danger dial 999 and contact the Emergency Duty Team on telephone number 01926 886922.

Child protection is everybody's business. This means if YOU see something that concerns you, YOU MUSTREPORT IT to the school child protection staff or to children's services (social services).
