Knights & Dragons

Tuesday 26th May Rugby Library 10.30am – 12.00noon

 

Discover Knights, dragons and heraldry. Design your own coat of arms and make a shield or stained glass window.

Cost: £2.50 per child. Tickets must be booked in advance in person and may be limited. Sessions are suitable for school-aged children. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

 

Edible Insects at Market Hall Museum, Warwick

Sunday 24th May 11.30am to 5.00pm

Get the opportunity to taste some edible insect dishes/recipes with Wild Creature Features. Plus get crafty with our make and take home family activities.

No need to book just drop in - FREE event in partnership with Wild Creature Features to support Warwick Food Festival.

 

Geocaching around Warwick

25th May - 30th May FREE to take part, suitable for all the family.

Come and take part in a digital treasure hunt around Warwick; an exciting outdoor adventure for the whole family.

Starting at St John’s House Museum, follow the trail around Warwick Town Centre and see what you can find. Geocaching is a great way to explore your local area. Using your smart phone as a guide, be prepared to look under benches and around walls. Smart-phones will be needed and please ensure you download the free Geo Cache App from www.geocaching.com/mobile before taking part. This activity is taking place as part of HCW’s ‘Reframing Sheldon’ project - exploring the use of creative technologies to showcase and celebrate our collections, our sites and our Warwickshire. Available during museum opening hours
