Mens Health Week

On the 15thof June The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Centre will be hosting an event to raise awareness about health and to give everyone an opportunity to try new sports. The event is for Men’s Health week, there will be free taster sessions in basketball, spinning, badminton and climbing. There will also be a bouncy castle and soft play for young children and free health checks. The aim is to raise awareness of preventable mental and physical health issues alongside encouraging early detection and treatment of disease among men. The day is for everyone of all sporting abilities. Prostate Cancer UK, Mind and Myton Hospice are coming along to promote their services as well. The open day will run from 12-3pm and it is completely free.
